Unite 2030 – ‘Shark Tank’ Event
Unite2030 believe in the power of stories to change the world. With the Global Goals of 2030 less than a decade away, we recognize that there are many change makers and organizations who are working towards the United Nations Sustainable Development goals and are unaware that they exist. While the global system of inequalities is continuing to grow there are groups big and small who are attempting to make an impact within their own communities, but need to be provided with support and a platform to anchor their work and help it grow to a larger and even global scale.
This event will host grassroots organizations who are working in their own communities; providing an opportunity for them to share their experiences, and collaborate with groups from across the Globe in an incubator to help create innovative solutions to their community problems. Across a month-long event, they will collaborate with another organization to solve an issue in their community, culminating in a large scale event where each group will present to industry professionals, with a chance to win a prize.
In creating this event, we hope to provide a platform for organizations to showcase the work in their communities,as well as expose more people to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, we understand that inorder for us to tackle these goals it is going to take the collaboration and innovation of all people.
